I've decided to give my hair a makeover over this Xmas. I'm going BLONDE,

The Joys of Being A University Student :)

So the accomodation isn't very nice, there are parties all the time, even through the night. The course is hard, you've got no money. Being a student is fun, only thing that could make it better is more money lol.

My mum sent me a package last week, and i loved it. It's really cold up north so my mum gave me these:

Hot Chocolate sachets ^o^ YAY!! my mum is awesome lol

What I've been up to lately..

Hey everyone, I sincerely apologise for the lack of updates over the past couple months.
I'm now at University, I thought I'd have enough time to blog once a day or something, but my course is EXTREMELY intense. x_x
Japanese Studies lol That's my main degree, but this semester I'm doing modules in Japanese Politics and Chinese Economic Development.
Mid Terms are next week, so i'm studying like crazy hehe Hopefully in the future, like next semester or in 2nd year i'll do a few blogs now and again in Japanese. For the practice and something different now and again haha.
Here are some pics from Halloween:

Vampire for the JSOC party :)

Zombie for ScaryTarts

Circle lenses certainly come in handy for Halloween :)

Gyaru Picture Post #3

I'm going to aim to post some Gyaru photos once a week (^o^)

Losing Weight yay!

I've dropped a dress size already since i've started University.

Fresher's week had a big impact on this, not sleeping, not eating, hungover most of the time lol. Also where my Uni is, there are a lot and i mean A LOT of steep hills. The union and my classes are like almost 2 miles from my accomodation. This is good, cause I'm like guaranteed to walk at least 4 miles a day.

Back at home everything was flat and I had a car, so I was lazier than I am at the moment. I need to get the whole healthy eating thing perfected then I'm sorted. I need to eat more fruit and veg lol. I've got like 1 apple left, so i should really buy some more tomorrow when I go past Eurospar ^o^

Course and Freshers

hey everyove.

Freshers week is almost over and I must say so far i love University.
The freedom is amazing, can do what I want, wear what I want etc Everyones really nice too. As you may know I'm doing Japanese Studies, a very intense and difficult course, however from what I've heard about it, it's made to be fun and an enjoyable course. The 2nd and 4th years (3rd year is spent in Japan) have been increadibly helpful. They've been giving out loads of advice, their old textbooks, study tips and even showing us places within Sheffield. There is a huge Chinese market about a 45minute walk away, it's got pretty much everything. I bought some gyoza skins, so i'm going to have to make some of those when I get a chance~

My accomodation is pretty cool too~ My flatmates are lovely, and my room is pretty big. I've decorated it already with photos and study material haha. If anyone wants to send me stuff to put on my walls please contact me via formspring or facebook (links on the side) lol

I've got Freshers Mania tonight. Huge show. We have Fragma, Aggros Santos and more playing. We were meant to have Mr Hudson, but he had to cancel. Chicane are playing instead! xD yay. <3 my SU lol

Finally fully packed! Short Hiatus

こんばんは皆さん~

So, tomorrow I leave for University. It's quite sad really, I gave in all my uniform and my discount card in at work, plus my room looks soo empty now everythings packed up. First time it's been this tidy lol

I'm going to miss home a lot, I know I am :/ But there's nothing I can do about it. I'll be up north far away from here. And OMG the travelling is expensive!! Unless I get a bus of course. But who wants to sit on a bus for 6 hours.... nope. didn't think so lol meh, i'll be home for Christmas.

Tomorrow we're setting off at 10am and I probably wont have internet set up until Sunday. Or Monday at the latest. For one post i have lined up i need to use the video program on my mac, and thats packed up. So once that's sorted you'll have a nice new post to read / watch.

Staying in a Travelodge tomorrow night, then moving in on Saturday morning. Party Saturday night after unpacking and having food etc then SLEEP. I'm going from a double bed to a single -___- thats going to take some time to get used to. Hope I dont roll out of bed in my sleep lol.

Here's me signing out for now. I'll still be checking my formspring.me so don't forget to leave me a message there, or any questions. [I have internet access on my mobile so i can get it and Facebook :P ]

Talk to you soon and Good night ^o^
またね!おやすみなさい!

Everything a Western Gyaru Needs: My Top 5 Shopping Websites

Japan Centre - Whats a gal without inspiration lol The Japan Centre is basically my hub for Japanese goods. They have many magazines, loads of Gyaru ones. The prices are a little bit high but totally worth it :D I always spend a fortune with them. They also sell food, snacks, drinks, books, manga, study materials, gifts and home goods. I highly recommend you visit the site and see their vast collection for yourself~

Tokyo Toys - This is where I buy my circle lenses. They're reliable and affordable. Fast delivery too~ They have an actual shop in London, so if you're ever around Piccadilly Circus, head into the Trocadero Shopping Center on Coventry street. They sell loads of anime and manga goods as well as Japanese sweets and cosplay goods.

Uniqlo - I love Uniqlo clothing! A lot of their stuff is plain block colours so it's good for accessorising. They also do seperate collections for Disney, Hinano Yoshikawa, Metal Gear Solid etc. Their prices are fairly cheap but the quality is amazing!

Eyeko - Make up etc. They have a great pen eyeliner, big eyes mascara which I mentioned in a previous post. Their nail varnishes are of good quality and don't chip easily. Some items you can get cheaper elsewhere but eyeko's pakaging is sooo cute~ They always have offers and free gifts if you spend over £10.

Artbox - They sell cute things to decorate rooms, cushions, stickers, stationery etc. I love buying from them, their designs are adorable with pandas, hearts, bows and many others. The prices are cheap and they have soo much stuff. They came in very handy for me going off to uni. As I've showed you here, i've bought a lot of things from them for University. I've done about 3 orders with them so far, usually around 10 items a time. The delivery is super fast, and you can choose 2 different delievery types. fast or super fast lol.

Tokyo Girls Collection 2010 Autumn / Winter

The event took place in Saitama Arena, last week I believe. Designers such as Kitson, Lovedrose, GOTTO3 and La PARLER, showcased some of their pieces for this year. AKB48 also performed and took part in the catwalk.

Here are a few photos I got from tokyofashion.com

Ranzuki Oct Issue, My Birthday and New Stuff

My Japan Centre order arrived yesterday... finally. I had to wait for another week because Ranzuki wasn't in stock. But I'm glad I waited for the next issue, because I got the best free gift ever! Lashes! I've been meaning to buy some new ones over the past few days because mine are getting a bit blergh from using too much. Not only did I get top lashes with Ranzuki, but BOTTOM lashes too!!! YAY (^o^)!~

Me and my brother did a spot of shopping yesterday too when we went to get him some passport photos for University. There's a little shop in the town near me that just sells hair accessories, jewellery and photo frames. It's completely colour coded too, you can literally walk from one side of a rainbow to another lol They sell contact lenses, but not Circle ones. Here's what I bought using their buy 2 get 2 free deal.

The little red bracelet didn't have a tag, but it was only £3.50 so i wasn't too bothered. I love the necklace! The clasp to do it up is a bit strange and difficult to get used to, but the way it looks makes up for it haha. The hair bows were quite expensive to be honest. £6.99 each :/ But they sure look awesome. I'll have to take a photo of me wearing them at some point. Maybe from the parties at Uni.
I like the little dragonfly on it ^^

In my Japan Centre order I also got my kanji books. Basic Kanji Book Volume 1 & 2. I have to use them for the first few terms at Uni. I searched for ages trying to find the cheapest place to find them and Japan Centre came up the best. Only £25 instead of £35.

Oooo! I got this mini dressing gown for the Slumber Party at Uni. I didn't want to go clubing in full pjs so i'll just team this up with a vest top, leggings and heels.

As a few people know it was my birthday on Tuesday. This was the lovely card my brother got me ^o^

Shibuya 109 - SBY

From now on i'm going to post photos from random shops in Shibuya109, to give you an idea about what they're selling at the moment, the current trends etc. I'll try and include some information and i'll link you to the websites.

I'm starting with SBY, as I myself have an SBY hair scrunchie, which I love!

Here's what the store looks like. They have stores elsewhere but this one is cute!

Love this bag soo much! It has a blue bit on the inside that ties up to keep everything inside the bag.

Cute necklaces.

Lower lashes!!! I really need some, but I don't know where to get some in the UK.

Pajamas / Lounge wear.

And here is the SBY scrunchie I have. It came free with a Ranzuki magazine I got a good few months ago.

Here's the site: SBY
The 109 shop is on the 8th Floor by the toilets (If your interested, or in Japan)

[I couldnt find much information about the stop. Only Japanese info that said where it was and what product they recommend at the moment.]

Rose Bud Nail Tutorial - Easy

Just a quick easy tutorial for beginners~ I did this in a rush, so it looks a bit messy but take it slower and you'll get a better result. detail is key.

For this you will need:
+ Clear Nail Varnish for top and bottom coats.
+ Pale Pink Nail Varnish (I used Eyeko's Petite Polish)
+ Dark Pink Nail Varnish (I used Rimmel's Hot Shot)
+ Pale Green Nail Varnish (I used a George at Asda green)
+ A Thin Paintbrush (Or a cocktail stick'll do)

1- First paint your nails with a clear bottom coat.

2- When dry paint your nails with the light pink. About 2 - 3 coats should be fine.

3- Now grab your paintbrush (or cocktail stick) and dip it into the pink. Paint curved moon shapes randomly on the nail.
4- Paint a smaller, almost dot shape, inside each of the moons. Be careful not to make the two parts touch, or it will just look like a blob. lol They should look a bit like rose buds now.
5- Switch to the pale green now and paint leaves either side of each bud.

6- When dry, finish off by applying a top coat.
I only did the pattern on two nails, but you can do it on as many as you like. It would probably look awesome if every nail was done like it ^o^
I hope you like it! If you decide to try it out, please send me a link to your photos, or post it in a comment ^^

GRRRR!!!

Well i did write a nice long post for you all.....

But i pressed the wrong button on the keyboard by accident and lost it ALL >_<

(ToT)

[Edit: nevermind. it did it :/]

Tonight, and What To Expect Today

~~~ヾ(^∇^)おはよー♪
Tonight is my leaving party at work because I leave not this monday coming but the monday after. Leaving for University woo! ☆
Unfortunately this means I lose my job too :( I'll have to cut down on buying stuff. Speaking of spending money, I need something to wear tonight. :/ I wanted to go have a look in Matalan, but my brother's using my car today. I'll have to have a search through my clothes and find some accessories.
As for what to expect from me today and tomorrow. I have in the works: A nail tutorial, a circle lenses review, a post about make up. I'll probably think of a few more over the next few hours. I want to make up for not posting so much. I went out for an early birthday party for me, with a few of my friends. We went to my favourite resturant, Pompoko. ♪ I mentioned it a few posts back. I took photos, so i'll post them ^^ ♪
LizLisa - Tralala is Cute!!
I simply cannot wait until I'm in Japan. I'm goint to end up spending soo much money, especially on clothes (If i can be down to a decent size by then)
I am completely in love with LizLisa's Tralala brand. It's just unbelievably ADORABLE! ^o^
This t-shirt is soo cute ^^ It's got like a gradient colour on it, changes from green around the bottom, up to pink around the shoulders and neck. I also want that usamimi~ I saw some in Camden market a few weeks ago, but unfortunately I didn't get them. There wasn't a mirror about ToT
I've always wanted a pair of dungarees, especially the 'shorts' ones~ They'd probably look really weird on me with my milkbottle white legs hehe. More so if it was a pair like the ones in the above photo. Very pale denim. The t-shirt is pretty cute, I've seen necklaces like that everywhere, especially in Asda. They have a bigger range of jewellery now ^o^ which is awesome!
I want pink shoes lol.
Straw Handbag and Straw Hat
I want it! lol
It's adorable~
They are soo popular at the moment, but I haven't been looking out for them. Haven't really gone shopping recently to be honest. I've just been using the internet to buy things for University. ☆
I'm on the look out for a straw hat too, the flat topped ones. Boaters I think they're called.
Anyone know where I could get either of these from, preferablly in the UK?? \(^□^*) /
